La Xarxa de Referència en Química Teòrica i Computacional agrupa investigadors d’un total de 22 Grups de Recerca Reconeguts per la Generalitat de Catalunya que treballen en aquesta disciplina a diferents institucions catalanes, en particular Universitats, CSIC i Instituts de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
En total, la Xarxa agrupa més de 200 investigadors.

This year’s invited speakers are Rosa Bulo (Utrecht), Fabien Gatti (Montpellier), Gonzalo Jiménez-Osés (La Rioja) and Fabrizia Negri (Bologna).

The European Young Chemist Award 2014 had 4 finalists from de Universitat de Girona (@UnivGirona). Eduard Matito (@EduardMatito), Marc Garcia (@MarcGBQ), Marc Font (@MarcFontMolins) and Zoel Codolà (@ZoelCodola).
Two of them are researchers from the IQCC. Eduard Matito, with the characterization and identification of electrides study, and Marc Garcia Borràs, with the structure and exohedral reactivity of fullerenes and compounds theoretical study, are finalists in the 35 years old and PhD levels categories.
